Pastor and faith healer. Author. Television host. Chris Oyakhilome is known by his followers under the name Pastor Chris. Chris is the founder and president LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique interpretation of God's Word has been a source of inspiration for millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the elder of three sons born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace upon her son from the age of a child.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director for the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which has a host of gospel top-selling artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen the way of her father, spreading the Word of God to the world. Also known CSO, she is an award-winning gospel singer and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained a BSc. in Architecture, as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to be a minister and serve the Lord.

While he was at the university, The Man of God established what would later become one of the largest churches worldwide. He began a small prayer group called "Youth for Christ" that would eventually develop into the most renowned organisation of its type on campus. This would also serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated which has millions of followers around the world.

Under Pastor Chris's guidance Under the guidance of Pastor Chris, under the direction of Pastor Chris, the LoveWorld ministry became a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian television production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station broadcast out of Africa to the rest of the world, 24/7, all the time on free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld television stations on cable and satellite networks around the world.
